In the video where she reveals that Rainbow Dash parent’s have not been on the show she refers to the EqG characters as otherwordly later on the video when asked about them.
That’s cool. Have you got a link to where the character designer made that statement? I’m interested in seeing what else she said.
Yeah. The gist of it is that the characters aren’t actually meant to represent actual humans, hell the person that designed the characters straight up said they’re not human she said they’re otherworldly beings. They’re suppose to represent Equestrian and that’s why they’re modeled after them. Megan from G1 is an actual hooman being.

Well, they’re not actually humans, are they? They’re humanized Equestrians. Notice how no one has ever said the word “human” in any of the movies? Twilight never mentions her “human” friends, just her “Canterlot High” friends.
They were made within the G4 brand so yeah, I am refering to EqG. Humungus heads held by lanky yet strangely randomed colored bodies.
What’s wrong with G4 Humans? I assume you are talking about Equestria Girls.
