So I’ve been watching My Little Pony Generation 1 lately, due to lack of new Friendship is Magic episodes. It’s pretty neat, in my opinion. Much more interesting than Generations 3 or 3.5 (can’t say much for 2, because I haven’t seen it). One of the things that immediately stuck me was the villains. Good gracious, it had some cool villains for a kids’ show in the 80’s Introducing one of my favorites: Grogar the Demon Ram Necromancer!He’s cold, cruel, and rules with no mercy, not to mention he’s wicked powerful. All his power stems from that bell around his neck and a larger, more ancient one in his castle. He planned to take over Ponyland by banishing all the ponies to the Shadow World (I’m guessing Hell), a place where he was trapped for 500 years beforehand.He had a really cool design, as you can see. However, I did add a couple changes to him, and he was more or less referenced off of a more ‘updated’ version of him. He’s supposed to be in the Shadow World in the drawing, by the way.
