Didn’t expect Nyx to grow up bigger than her mom. The general belief is after ascending, Twilight is still growing and will end up as big as Celestia in a couple centuries.
 
In fact that was made for making them anatomically different. The suggestion is that pure-bread alicorn may grow up faster. And “Past Sins” itself built around the situation where Nyx still remaining a child in many ways mentally was much bigger than Twilight.
 
And that’s just cute. X)
