I didn’t expect my question to cause such a result. I get very agitated when people don’t get credited properly, and I knew I recognised this pose. You handled it all well it looks like. I’m happy so long as it has the Base Used tag. You didn’t need to give your character’s life story though, lol. Her being a clone doesn’t mean anything at all in this situation.

Agreed. I’ve added the artist to the tags, and added the “Base Used” tag that marks the DeviantArt practice that resulted in this image.

It’s fine. Whether this image came from that other artist’s work, or both they and whomever made the “base” used a common reference from the show, the result is the same.
 
We just need to respect the original artists copyright, and to reflect that the source of this was, as DeviantArt calls it, a “base”.
 
I’ve updated the tags on the image used to create this one, too.

Alright so i talked to the person who made the image to straighten some things out  
He used a free to use base for the character. I dont want to be associated with tracing nor plagiarism. I do not own the base nor the original background.
 
Sapphire Rose herself is the result of a fallout equestria RPG i am in. just quickly, yes she is a recolor of roseluck but she is LITERALLY a clone. Anyone who has played fallout would call her a Synth. And thats exactly what she is.  
Lmfao as cringey as it is, it suits the RP and makes more sense with context.

When i originally made her i drew her on paper. She was intended to be a clone of roseluck for a RP me and my buddy have going. Shes a horticulturist in the rp. Wasteland is almost left with no plants after the great war, its convoluted as hell… I will delete the image if i have to. The creation of the image is by no means my doing. A friend said he drew it and sent it to me on messenger for my birthday.  
Again oc is mine, but i am not the one who drew it. But will take down if need be

It honestly never occured to me to reverse check what he drew. Honestly my buddy just sent me it. But yes she is a recolor of roseluck :b in The fallout equestr rp me and my buddy have going shes a clone of roseluck.
