And no 2x4 KND technology will be able to protect poor Ashely now. Especially not against someone in possession of the Alicorn amulet…
 
 
I’ve been wanting to draw this for some time after having finished watching all of Season 3. Some episodes were amazing, some dull…and some were completely hardcore, and “Magic Duel” was definitely one of them. :w00t:
 
:bulletpink: I always wanted to draw another cartune universe crossover featuring not only my KND OC Rocky, but her adopted sister Ashley as well…To anyone who remembers watching KND WAY back when Cartoon Network was still Cartoon Network before it became CN Real, you recall Ashley as the blonde girl of the The Delightful Children from Down the Lane…but to most of us, the member of the legendary Sector Z. However, trying to compile EVERYTHING into a simple summary: the DCFDTL have returned to their former Sector Z identities and are not only part of the KND again, but also adopted in Rocky’s new family after her aunt married the Toiletnator. It’s all in this REALLY old story called ‘Operation: CHANGE’ [link] which takes places some time after the KND series ended.
 
:bulletyellow: I haven’t drawn Ashley much, save for only a couple appearances such as this one [link] and I’ve drawn a good number pictures of the third adopted sister Ogie [link]. Now I’ve finally placed Ashley in an even BIGGER situation, almost in comparison to Rocky’s when it came to looking for Discord in my ‘Chaotic Order’ story [link]. :XD:
 
:bulletwhite: I’m going to be honest, during those thirty minutes of watching ‘Magic Duel’, my thoughts have fluctuated from pity to incredible hostility in terms of Trixie herself. Is she evil? I REALLY don’t want to say so, but I can’t exactly look past the way she treated Twilight, as well as entrapping all of Ponyville under a giant dome (Simpsons movie, anyone?) and forcing everypony into servitude or face punishment(King Sombra or worse?). :(
 
But I guess after the ending, and Trixie referred to herself as the “The Great and Apologetic”, my fingers are starting to point at the Alicorn amulet that took control of her. It’s a powerful object, and I bet even the most innocent unicorn could be brought out the worst if ever wore that amulet. ^^;
 
 
:bulletblue: So, squeezing my cartune crossover into such an episode, here’s what happened as picture shows:
 
 
Rocky and Ashley, the only operatives left to their own devices after their teams took on separate missions to assist other KND members, reach Ponyville just in time to come face-to-face with Trixie. Now Rocky learned a bit about Trixie, a while back having discussed with both Twilight and Spike about the Ursa Minor incident and a lesson in friendship, and to see the former showmare looking even more terrifying than any adult villain she’s battled…she can’t help but feel the atmosphere suddenly becoming chilling with uncertainty.
 
And her fears become reality when she witnesses the dark magic Trixie unleashes, followed by watching her unicorn, aka ‘BSBPFF’ [link], suffer from such an impact and end up defeated. Terror induces when Trixie suddenly brings forth a massive dome, preparing to entrap all of Ponyville under it for her own selfish and cruel reasons.
 
Twilight is out, of course, but Trixie plans to take hold of Rocky, and maybe her sister. But Ashley, fearing the worse for her little sister since Trixie knows how close she and Twilight are, performs an act of sacrifice and gets her sister out of the way just in time as the dome seals between them, entrapping Ashley along with Ponyville instead.
 
Scared and devastated for what Trixie will do to her sister, Rocky has no choice but to run off with Twilight, both promising to return and rescue their friends and family, leaving Ashley to only hope they can do it and fend herself against Trixie…:(
