Description
A mushroom poner! She sells mushrooms, and sometimes gives them for free if she likes you or if she’s in the right mood. The problem is they’re like Poison Joke, except with completely random effects. Will you grow twice as big? Change genders? Invert your colors? Turn into Twilight Sparkle? Become bio-luminescent? Grow a pair of bat wings? Turn into a monster? Nopony knows! Thankfully no matter what the effects only last 60 minutes, and they have a really nice savory umami flavor :D

That has some grimdark lewd implications. I like it.
No matter what the effects can only last 60 minutes. So it could teleport you to the sun and you’d burn alive: after 60 minutes you’d appear, unharmed, exactly where you were standing when you ate it :P

So that’s like another way for the mushroom pone to reproduce, assimilation. I wouldn’t mind getting that.

Maybe one of the effects is mashroomization, which either makes your movements awkward or makes you immobile while restoring your health, depending on which game you’re playing.
Honestly I’m more curious if the effects include growing and shrinking. :P
Does one of the effects include becoming Super Mario?
They’d both suffer the same effect, but for only half the time :P

I don’t know why, but the whole thing reminds me of that thing from way back where someone wrote a bunch of greentexts about where Applejack became the alicorn princess instead of Twilight, and she basically fixed every single one of Equestria’s problems in like an afternoon just by fixing their government and economic policies XD

They actually bring that up in the episode. Spike points out how he didn’t realize the name was literal, and the rest laugh at him for it. As if to imply that sort of thing is common in Equestria XD
