First of all, sprout doesnā€™t have it in him to become part of the main 5. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but thatā€™s true.
Second of all, Sparky is BABY. How the heck is he supposed to become part of the main 5?!
So maybe itā€™s just a mistake. Misty is the sixth member, so I guess they meant that.

Itā€™s worse in Spanish (and Portuguese) because it says ā€œMisty joins the six friendsā€ and itā€™s in femenine, so an all-female group of six friends.
