Well Rarity enchanted the mane six statuettes with only a part of her soul as I recall. This one could have been enchanted with left over energy.
Maybe derpy was in ninja-ing in the background when Rarity got the imprint of the mane six’s personalities that day in carrousel boutique, the result? A bonus figurine of our lovely mailmare to compliment each set.
Rarity: “Snails darling, I simply cannot comprehend what went wrong!”
Nice job. The significance of these little statuettes is that each of them contains a portion of the pony’s soul.
In short, carrying one of Derpy’s means every now and then when you are in trouble, you would hear her voice whispering to you(in a non-creepy way) and giving you encouragement.
That said, the method of putting said pony’s soul into the statuette is not quite so…nice.
