General bio:
 
Golden Delicious is the son of Caramel and Applejack. He looks like a big, tough guy but is a total sweetheart. He is incredibly intelligent and resourcful. Of his group of friends, he is probably the smartest. Also, although he is sweet, he can be rather sarcastic at times. Family comes first for this stallion and he believes that they are his closest friends. He is very attached to them and that sometimes keeps him from venturing out. As mentioned in “Bon Appetite” kilala97.deviantart.com/art/Bo Del does not want to limit himself to just life on the farm. As a culinary artist, he thinks it’s very important to travel and gain a better understanding of the world and other places and cultures. However, because he’s so attached to his family, he’s very torn but always ends up back at the farm. His family, besides maybe Red June, doesn’t really know about this conflict going on in his mind because he is definitely a pony that keeps his problems to himself. He does not like burdening others with his issues and would much rather help them out with their issues. Gold is a lover, not a fighter and it takes a lot of effort to get him agitated. Though, when he gets mad at something somepony says, he’ll often say something back under his breath but never out loud. He usually does this to get what he needs to say off his chest while not hurting anypony’s feelings. Sometimes if it’s not too hurtful, he’ll reply with a sacastic remark (this happens a lot with Prism). He’s very understanding and accepts everypony for who they are.
 

 

 
Relationships:
 
Del loves his parents and all his family for that matter. Applejack and Big Mac taught him a lot about farming and harvesting. They often bond over that sort of thing. Del is a total mama’s boy and he’d do anything for her.
 
 
Del is especially close to his two cousins Api and Red June. He and Red June are more of siblings than cousins. Red is always giving him advice about life and helping him to have a little more fun as opposed to working all the time. Del is very protective of his little cousin Api. She usually gets into trouble and is quite scrappy so when she’s in a jam, he’s there to calm her down and scold the ponies giving her a hard time.
 
 
Of the other mane six kids, Turquoise is probably his best friend. They have a lot in common and are more level headed than the others. Del and Starburst also hang out together a lot. Star often goes over to Sweet Apple acres to help him out. Both of them make workouts out of the chores. They’ve become close friends due to how much time they spend training with one another.
