If the only “growth” he made was doing something painfully fucking stupid like this, but for a friend this time…that’s not growing a lot. At all. ESPECIALLY when it’s at the very fucking end of the series! He was here since season 2 and just NOW he was getting “development” and it was fucking THIS?! That alone proves Dicklord sucks ass.

Nothing bad would have happened but he was making a genuine misguided effort to help whether u like the methods he went for or not, his character has grown a lot he would have never cared about twilight being confidence seasons ago, in fact he would have infact probably messed with her to destroy her confidence, the fact that he is trying to learn to be a better friend in a show of friendship is why he deserves forgivess over the 3 who did the things they did for evil intentions.

Listen it was never his intent to put them in any real danger, he stated to having being a safety net in s9 ep 24 he basically saw it as he could prevent the 3 from being a real threat with his powers. He didn’t even know they had the bell he should have definitely thou things through but his goal wasn’t to have them nearly killed at all. And yes it does matter because even if they ended up in true danger because of his actions that was never his intent to do so, your using Ron the Death Eater on Discord.

Dicklord is the worst fucking character on the show. Doesn’t matter if he was called out, he got away Scott free basically! Doesn’t matter if he “made up” for it, NOTHING bad would have happened if Dicklord just sat on his ass and did literally nothing! That’s not being a good character, that’s being a waste of space, time, and effort.

Defeat means gaining victory over, victory equals confidence that’s the simplest way to describe it. It was never his extent to put anypony in any real danger because he was planning on being a safety net which he states in s9 ep 24, theres enough to justify it on the same lvl as twilight releasing the pony of shadows.
 
Discord is a great character he did wat his character is a spirit of chaos, he would only be a bad character if he wasn’t called out for it by the normal beings who understand things more and if he didn’t strive to make up for his grave misjudgement.

Discord was also heroic in s9 ep 25 vowing to make up for his actions, risking his life to piss off a tirek that could have killed him so he could get the ponies free and yeh it may look funny but he was battling the villains while only being able to throw rocks which takes a lot of bravery.
