The dose was very high right from the start so it should be effective covenant scout are watching from afar and they made a report about your attempt to cover yourself which only lead to Deru rising the rad level even more. (I forgot if there was something worst about rad made by tiberium)

OOC: I don’t know and there is no way to reduce the effects with out you doing that again is there?

OOC: He could do it again and again yes, but I won’t go further than one time before he switch it off so the regular covenant and Promethean could get there without being poisoned too.

OOC: What type of radiation is it?

OOC: Tiberium related. burn and cause mutation but at each respawn the mutations are cured.

OOC: I mean is it alpha, beta, gama, x-ray or a combination?

OOC: Since tiberium have mutation symptoms I exclude alpha and beta the less dangerous ones. I didn’t find any sources saying it but my bet would go on gamma rather than x ray.

OOC: I must still say that it was done so the first wave hit like a train, it is supposed to be the ultimate weapon of this realm afterall, I didn’t plan to have the composer ever work.
 
The radiation turned off but the covenant force start to approach.

The first attack came from a commando of Forerunner from the Mantle using binary rifle from afar while the rest of them waited for this first salvo to weaken you.

OOC: Yes, that was a very long time ago since it was damaged.

The Promethean’s armors was able to take it without too much damages, but they moved further back and behind cover where they are much less efficient.
 
The main part of their force supported by some ghosts come to you to get into medium range combat. they fire plasma shots blindly to cover their movement.

Ghost: Rhinos open fire. Gauntlet and echo teams(Spartan-IIIs) watch out for anything trying to take out the rhinos.

The rhinos were very effective, even some forerunners in armors were took out by direct hits, the rest of them use hard light shield to get close enough to your troop so now your artillery can’t hit them again without doing collateral damage.
