Well Dragons are immune to the curse due to their scales, and maybe forming a covenant with Spike could make someone immune.
Which is why I questioned SPike, and possibly more MLP characters, being connected to the First Flame. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Royals had something like Lord Souls
Sad thing is, the crowns aren’t really a cure. They’re just a preventative measure. The moment you remove one, you’re still cursed. Even if they were really a cure, they only affect one person so you’d spend the rest of eternity watching everyone around you wither as they try to take the crowns for themselves.
