Furrgroup is an excellent artist.
 
While it is recommended uploaders ask permission from artists before they upload out of politeness. It technically isn’t against the rules to upload anything on this site without their permissions. It’s when they personally complain or report their piece, request takedowns or DNPs when we usually know whether or not they want their stuff here.  
Other than that, stuff stays on here.  
Since you’re the one who commissioned your art and wish to upload them here, I don’t think most artists would have any problems with you uploading your piece here.
 
But if you want to ask them before you upload them, that is up to you.
 
For most publicly posted art on DA and other sites, it’s usually safe to upload them here. It is those that require pay to view and privately posted stuff that are often questionable.

I didn’t draw her here though. The credit belongs to Furrgroup (http://furrgroup.tumblr.com/). I definitely recommend getting commissions from him (he’s a super nice guy too).
 
I have had some other art done of her before from other artists that isn’t up on Derpi yet. Been trying to get permission to upload them onto here (giving them proper credit too of course).

She looks cute.

ah ok. Well, it turns out Stormy only has three pics of her up on Derpi. I know more have been made of her before, but they aren’t up on here.

That’s the great feature of Derpibooru (and other Boorus); anyone can add related tags, and remove unrelated tags.
 
On sites like Deviantart where the tags are private; people forget to add certain tags, and adds unrelated tags, making it very hard to find images.
