Sweetie Belle looked down and smiled at the very confused colt who was dangling and swaying in midair from the now cinched loop of rope around his left rear leg. After a second Sweetie squealed.
“Eeee! I got one! I got one! Is he a keeper?”
Cadafel looked up at the fillies sitting on the deck of their treehouse. “Um, excuse me. What’s going on, and could ya let me down. Please.” He added quickly.
Applebloom looked down the colt for a moment. “I don’t know Sweetie. He looks kinda small. Might want ta let him go.”
Scootaloo looked over the edge and grinned. “Speak for yourself AB. Tell you what Sweetie. If you don’t want him I’ll take him!”
“Um, what are three talking about?” Asked the suspended colt.
“Whats it look like?” Replied the youngest of the Apple family. “We’re trying ta decide whether ta keep ya our let ya go.”
In that moment Cadafel noticed Button Mash’s head poking out of a canvas bag. There eyes met and from his the other colt’s body language Cadafel knew what Button was thinking.
Fillies were weird.
