That was unironically a big deal back when I was a kid when the SNES came out.

This is probably the most immersion the two best sisters ever had!
I’ve always looked at it as the devs specifically tweaking the stats of in game elements to the point where they no longer resemble the real world but they are chasing after some unrealistic sense of “balance” and “challenge”.
I feel sorry for them after players keep on crying over things that are either too easy or too hard…

Hell it’s easier to kill cowboys than to kill most predatory animals in RDR2 because at least the cowboys don’t magically one shot you or take 2/3rds of your health core with one mauling. Hell in the case of stranger missions, you can’t even reliably kill said animals in one shot.
