it was down to -10F (-12C) a few days ago and my car started up just fine, glad I have a gas car and I only have to fill it up every 250 miles, never having to worry about varying EV range :P

executive cars. I don’t know why. There’s the Insignia, and the thing that succeeds the Insignia, and the GL8.
GL8 is a luxury minivan. Business people like it because it’s subtle and cheap (obvsly, being a minivan), but luxury enough and with 7 seats.
Insignia comes from the Opel/Vauxhall range in Europe. Civil servant car.

I gave up on GM some time ago. Their quality started to go way down starting with the 2007 model year…at least for their trucks.

Wow, they are even less sincere than VW.
At least when you buy an Audi or Seat you wouldn’t expect them to have identical trim with the Golf.

An old woman who should not have been driving T-boned my car today. She was stopped at a four way intersection. I had the right of way. I went to cross and she pulled out and smashed into the passenger side of my car. Nobody was hurt and an EMT happened to be passing by and stopped to help, so that was good. It went about as well as it could have, all things considered.

I’ll tell you what, my car gave better than it got. Hyundai built a sturdy car. I was able to drive home with two crumpled doors and some added wind noise. The whole front of her Jeep fell off and it had to be towed.

There is no doubt that she was at fault. I have a nasty feeling my insurance is going to go up regardless, though.

Much as I’m loathe to defend insurance companies, I can see their point of view with how expensive cars are now. I mean, just that crack in my front bumper was $2,000 in parts to replace. A simple piece of plastic shouldn’t cost that much.

I never knew how expensive car parts were before.
Even a set of wiper blade costed me £‎36.

A lot of people have appalling hazard perception and only see the road 2 feet ahead.

They never check mirrors and they never look at blind spots

It is confirmed that two of the only Bugatti Chiron here in the Philippines were smuggled. And we also have a bad reputation of destroying luxury vehicles in display of what happens to properties unbound by this country’s taxes.

My day is fucking ruined.
