My new house has a positively massive tree in the front yard.

Not sure what it is, I think an elm tree.

Either way, three people can hide behind it, it’s that wide.

My tower is complete, I have my big A monitor, in a few days I’ll have everything i need to enjoy my new custom Desktop.

Hello there guys. I am developing a video game for a school project of mine; and I just made a beta version of the game. Can you guys please playtest the beta version of my game; and then fill in the survey for me?

The game is played in the browser and is linked on the survey. Just follow all the instructions in the survey for playing the game.

I really need more people to playtest my game and fill in this survey; as my teacher wants my survey, plus the beta of my game to get a decent number of responses. So far, I only have one response.

I setup a paypal, now for the hard part…figuring out prices for commissions. Is $15 a good price for a full body?

Yeah unfortunately. Until you get a rapport of consistantly pumping out good results you got to undersell yourself a little. it gets more complicated the more you charge.

You might even need to make a simulation or two of what one of these ‘full body’ pieces entail.

You need work history to get the decent work. I got lots of money to make myself if i actually get off my ass.

You can still try to fish for higher price commissions. Some people are more than willing and able to handsomely support amateur artist. Not that you lack the skills, i mean lack of sales rapport.

$3 for background and color.
$2.50 for extra character.

You can get patreon to send to your paypal I know.

You might wan to charge 3$ for the color, and more for the background. you should get used to them taking a bit of work. In fact if you’re starting out I would just focus on something simple like the characters themselves.

Every extra character +50$ of the base rate. so if the main commission was a half body, but they want an extra character or angle of that half body +50%. This is taking a loss though, some artist might want each character priced separately.

If you’re new to commissions your prices don’t have to be very strict or important. just realize people won’t be willing to pay much, until they can expect you to consistently deliver what they want. People will pay less for anything experimental, or left up to you. The more control they have over the output, the more they will pay.

At first you might as well just do pay what you want. you’re mostly going to have to be learning how to work with customers and get stuff out consistently.

don’t open too many slots. First I would just get used to doing what people ask for. You should be able to get coms no matter what if they’re cheap enough.

I had an absolutely wonderful time this past week in Victoria/Vancouver Island, British Columbia, walking, exploring downtown, eating at some great restaurants, picking up souvenirs, seeing general sights, taking photos and above and most important of all celebrating my late grandmother’s life with friends family. Every time I come here, it feels like a second home. It’s been that way ever since I was only a year old, and I look forward to many more visits yet to come.

I’m heading back home to Ottawa within the day (the 19th), but I’ll pop on here a few times, sporadically, whenever I can. Until then, see you all later!
