Sometimes I dream of another universe where Princess and the Frog actually sold well and Disney still made traditionally animated movies.
Sigh. One can only wonder.

HA! BOOM BABY!

Kuzco is being added to Disney Heroes, and I’m surprised it’s his human form and not his Llama one since not only did that have more screen time in the film but there is a lot more creative stuff to be done with it.
Still it was only a matter of time until he joined the roster.

We had another thunderstorm last night 🙄 so I passed the time by watching the sing-along to “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on my phone, and I tried my absolute best to sing along with songs that weren’t “This Is Halloween” and “What’s This?”

Well depends if he goes to that world, surprisingly the characters don’t go to every world there is which is why we haven’t seen versions of Riku from Monsters Inc. The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, or Nightmare Before Christmas.
I suppose the same can also be said about Kairi (which is a shame).

It’s possible, though KHIII did manage to get in quite a lot of NPCs in the background. My other guess is maybe it wasn’t integral to the story, they could also focus on just giving those different forms and outfits to Sora, Donald, and Goofy since they are the main playable characters you stick through on your journey.
Also Riku did have a outfit for The Grid stage from Tron: Legacy.

I was in my local Walmart today and I saw them release Snow White on 4K UltraHD
Now obviously they did this on account of the backlash towards the upcoming live action remake, they apparently re-released the original in selected theaters since people would of course watch the original over the new version; That all said aside I just think it’s amusing they would release a UltraHD of this movie, not to say it doesn’t hold up spectacularly after all these years but hopefully they really cleaned up the film or otherwise it might not look right.
(It’s like watching an UltraHD version of King Kong 1933, as cool as it sounds it probably would just make the film look awkward to watch)

Some old movies to me look better if they aren’t too cleaned up though. Sometimes if they go overboard they look too static. Like how they made the Simpsons earlier seasons look more digital then hand drawn now, and cut off the top and bottom corners to make them fit on widescreen TVs so it feels like we’re missing part of the show.

Random user on this site: Makes the connection that “Zootopia” was made by Disney and not Pixar because of themes that make it different from Pixar’s usual storytelling.
Me: …the lack of a hopping lamp at the beginning wasn’t what tipped you off?

Just watched the new Haunted Mansion movie, and I liked it.
Again another Disney film that didn’t do well in theaters, this was good, the story is simple, the cinematography was well done, the characters were all fine; I was surprised to see quite a few names attached to this movie, I knew about Owen Wilson and Danny DeVito being in it but was surprised to see Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota and Jared Leto as the Hat-Box Ghost; the comedy wasn’t bad, and I liked all the nods and references to the Haunted Mansion ride.
While it’s not a perfect film, I did like it more then the Eddie Murphy version.
Speaking of the Haunted Mansion

There’s a fun little short of Scratch from Molly McGee calling the residents of the Mansion hoping he could live there; It’s cute and again lots of nods to the ride.

@Hollowfox, Always The Worst Person
I was overwhelmed with emotions the entire time I was watching, I especially loved the piano of Feed the Birds when Mickey is looking at Walt’s picture.
Also loved how characters from Sword in the Stone and AristoCats actually kept their sketchy looking animation.

Sword in the Stone was quite interesting. I was expecting it to be some grand epic adventure. As a kid I thought it would be darker for some reason.
But nope its much more of a laid back movie. Not even a terrifying villian in this movie.
But I think I had fun with it. Merlin was really fun of course. I loved his erratic nature.
Its a fun laid back movie, I guess ever since The Little Mermaid, Disney always had to make their films have some tension and some sad moments. But its nice to see a movie thats just meant to make you laugh.
That being said I still hope one day we can have an animated film of Arthurian lore actually about King Arthur.

Yeah growing up I was always kinda scared to watch it (mostly because of scenes like the pike and Madame Mim as a dragon) but after watching it I ended up having fun and worried for nothing, now it’s in my top favorite Disney films of all time for how unique it is from other films.
Also I always looked at Quest for Camelot as an unofficial sequel to Sword in the Stone.
