Capitalism has corrupted all. It’s no wonder communism is seeing a resurgence. Also, starting a business in the current climate is like starting an MMO with no respawns and where the tutorial area is the PVP area for max level players.

Um, no he’s not. What are you talking about? Biden’s a moderate Dem through and through. He’s not gonna make things better, he just won’t make things worse.

The asterisk at the end is that its only due to placation of of the liberal dems to get their votes, because he offered a few liberal officials positions, etc. Biden himself however has been very vocal about how he is not his platform.

His plan to transition to green energy, the inclusion of a public option in Obamacare, increased social security payments on top of lowering the qualifying age by 5 years, etc.
 
He’s publicly and repeatedly opposed every single one of those, mind you. But maybe, just maybe, he’ll be senile enough so that when the few actual liberal or progressive members of his staff slips in a few things into his bills he won’t know he’s doing good until after the news networks start saying ‘Joe Biden accidentally does something good!’

That’s what I find bizarre about Trump, as he’s more focused on undoing the stuff that republicans enabled and supported not too long ago. It’s why I have trouble taking republicans (and democrats too, for that matter) at their word, because they were fine with the ACA when the heritage foundation came up with it and Romney implemented it in Massachusetts, but when a democrat implements their plan it’s now “sneaking socialism in through the back door!” or some horse shit like that.
 
It’s also why I don’t think much will change if Biden is elected, because what they say they’ll do often never amounts to much beyond a quite compromised solution.

Why does it feel like Trump is doubling down on his base instead of trying to get new voters?

Ah, yes, Obamacare. Obama really stuck it to those insurance companies, by forcing us to buy from those same insurance companies.

So, recent handicapping have it so that if Dems have a good night, they are expected to get a net gain of between 14 and 20 seats in the House. Putting them on track to have a bigger majority than the Republicans did back when the “red wave” flipped the House under Obama.
 
Provided Biden also wins, that would give Dems almost unrestricted control of the US’s purse-strings.
