Merpal is a hybrid classical unicorn and dracony serpal ponification, born out of the MERP meme that was posted in place of PFUDOR during the March 27, 2023 site downtime. As well as the first Derpibooru draconification, he is the first Derpibooru sergalification, by hybrid standards. Due to being part classifical unicorn, he is a more adaptive magic user but has his aura show across all three front scale horns, similar to Thorax. For being a classical unicorn but a hybrid, he is more a social with all ponies like this guy, as opposed to their former snobbish demeanor here described.

She seemingly has a somewhat affluent background despite not having ties or family that is recognized or known. Later, she joined the Lunar Guard after catching the eye and marrying the general of the NLR Air Force, Lightning Weather. She then worked up the ranks to become his personal guard.
