The former I’m against, since like it seems reundant, y’know? Like tagging every pony as “herbivore” or every picture of Big Macintosh as “best pony” :D I’d rather just use it when they’re actually doing parasite stuff.

And am leanin with Badum on the parasite thing. Looking through, images tagged parasite seem to all involve the creature actually interacting with a host creature. Badumsquish’s little creations are not always acting parasitic/interacting with a host creature. So I think they clear the need for the tag to be implied. Though if they are interacting with a host creature like in this pic, then the tag can go on:
