In a sense this quote would definitely describe this image, as twilight would soon have the feeling of fear of anyone else she loves soon later in life passing away. Hate would be her hatred to Death taking her loves lives as the pass away to dust. Pain is when twilight would feel the pain of only having Celestia and Luna as her ONLY friends. And ofc, Suffering would be when twilight can’t deal with it anymore but can’t do anything about it.

I can’t help but imagine the flares being to some sick beat playing in the background. That aside, I love the focus on the glare, though it may be a wee bit bright, I think it fits. Whew, furious alicorn Twilight is one of my favorites.

while I can certainly understand how such a concept may upset you, you must understand that it’s equally upsetting to fandom content creators to be told that their art is “wrong”. Artist and writers are free to explore any concepts they wish regardless of canonicity.

For a number of reasons, one I will readily admit it’s because Twilight Sparkle’s my favorite of the Mane Six. Another being there was a lot of worrying, arguing, and upset over Twilight becoming an alicorn.
 
The tweet saying she would not outlive her friends as well as the next season two parter after the Magical Mystery Cure worked to alleviate many of the worries and concerns.
 
As such I feel not having Twilight Sparkle suffer from Immortality Blues and her friends and family dying while she lives on is more reasonable. That, and I do not believe Princess Celestia would put her beloved student through such heartache as if any would know what such feels like it would be her.

yeah, but then again, a large majority of all fan art, or indeed any fan created material, depicts non-canon situations, so why does this particular instance require commentary?

Yes, the argument that it is a little open for interpretation has been made though I do believe the most reasonable way of viewing it is in light of the question asked.
 
Still, a bit part of Immortality Blues is outliving those important to you… which it has been explicitly stated will not happen when it comes to Twilight’s friends.

Twilight Sparkle isn’t an immortal, so what’s with the Immortality Blues tag? To the question of whether or not Twilight was immortal the answer was given that she would not outlive her friends.

Hmm, well Josh has a little point from me.  
In first two episodes Luna and Celly said that they don’t know if birth of alicorn even possible.  
So are they made alicorns too? Maybe they got like a blessing or so, and what about Twi?
