Description

Yeah, considering FMA:Brotherhood is my favorite anime, I couldn’t help but think of this.

I REALLY want magic arrays to be more of a thing in the show. Somewhat like Neighsay’s medallion.

I’m convinced they meant this as a FMA reference because Sunburst said the goal of the spell was to “materialize something that was lost in the past”.

You think FMA was the first to do magic circles?

Remember though what Starlight & Sunburst were trying to do in that fantasy though. As Sunburst said, “If we do it just right, it should allow us to materialize an object that was lost in the past.” Doesn’t that sound A LOT like what Ed and Al were trying to do in FMA/Brotherhood? They were trying to resurrect their deceased mother; human transmutation. Obviously MLP would make it a little less intense by turning it from bringing back the dead to materializing an object lost in the past, but the reference is still there.

Yep, probably. But look on the bright side, you’ll get metal legs and get to clap your hooves to make stuff happen!

Indeed. That’d be cool to see, lol

@Silver Maelstrom
I’m pretty sure the ones who wrote and made the episode intentionally put in that reference.

I hope so. That’d make it even better.
