Angela Landsbury is the best! We saw her in “Blithe Spirit” on stage, like… 10 years ago, and she stole the show.
I almost universally prefer older shows and movies to what’s on now. I should probably check out Night Court (I’ve never seen it before).

Probably because that show’s unintentionally hilarious with its clichés and predictability (Angela Lansbury’s cool, tho; crazy how she won zero Emmys from that show despite running for so long).
I have fond memories waking up early tuning into TV Land so I could catch reruns of Night Court before I went to school (this was when TV Land was the classics network, before Viacom decided they wanted a more “ad-friendly” viewer base). The madcap and anarchic environment of the whole show would fit perfectly with Pinkie’s tastes (especially with the antics of Bull the bailiff; wouldn’t surprise me if Pinkie got some of her personality traits from him).
