Applejack would not do this to Twilight without a reason. She won a rigged bet. Starlight was either punishing Twilight for some reason, or getting her out of the castle for some reason, or wing ponying for Applejack.

The “true experience” of camping is highly overrated.

THIS SHOULD’VE BEEN AN EPISODE

I’m just trying to figure out what’s gonna make this better or different than the first time they went camping.

I fell into a bush of stinging nettles on a camping trip once. Twilight would have known what she was dealing with fast.

I have to agree with the sign.

I know Applejack has a reason for doing this to Twilight. I know Starlight helped her win a rigged trivia game and this is Applejack’s reward for winning and Twilight’s punishment/penalty for losing. But if Applejack brought Twilight out here to hang out with one of her best friends, or to confess her feelings to Twilight, instead of bringing her out here because Twilight lost a bet, this is not the best environment. Roughing it like she is Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant may be something Applejack is into, but this Twilight would rather be Glamping than Hillbilly camping. She should do something to make Twilight feel more comfortable if she does not just want to torment her.
