I’ve been playing roleplaying games of various types (effectively started with D&D) for at least ten years, yo. These days I tend to prefer levelless systems like Shadowrun or whatever but I still dabble in Pathfinder.
Depends what game system you are playing.
My gaming group has something like 15 different systems that we use, and standard rolls can be:
2d6
3d6 (with one as “Dragon Die”)
2d10
d20
d100
It’s all about how the different system works and how random it should be and where the criticals lie.

The admins can, but of course they won’t. I made this picture as a joke, obviously. :P
The only thing the admins couldn’t look at/change even if they wanted to would be your account passwords, as they are encrypted.
