Looks like these five pegasi just flew from Cloudsdale to Canterlot for the Friendship Festival before it was ruined by the Storm King who attacked and conquered the city of Canterlot and then all of Equestria until his victory was undone at the end of the film which leads to his demise at the end of the film and when Equestria was liberated and the Friendship Festival resumes.
