Yeah it looks like they’re trying to disguise her as a unicorn.

You may be on to something there. If the three Pony races are as suspicious of each other as the story setting suggests, maybe there’s a scene where Our Heroes have to masquerade as other races to avoid getting busted.

There is a LOT of swivel in that walk, and the difference between the front legs and the back legs make me want a 360 model of this so I can just stare at it until it makes sense.

With G4 the walk cycle was so much a part of how people got into drawing them in the first place - just trying to reverse engineer the walk itself - but this? It’s like the front and back legs are in entirely different planes.
