When Luna first heard shed be playing as the Equestrian Ambassador to the Sea Pony Empire, she was delighted by the idea of sharing tea and stories with the merfolk as they visit Canterlot. Too late did she realise that SHE was the one going to visit THEM, due to the fact that she and her sister, Celestia, are the only two near-immortal ponies capable of holding their breath underwater for over an hour.
 
Two-and-a-half hours after taking a deep breath and diving, Luna was stuck with the thought that she might, in fact, be lost; the derpfish that had been guiding her all this time mustve forgotten the route again. That and she should have met the Sea Ponies, conversed with them via sign-language and glubbing-speech, and left for the surface forty-five minutes ago; the strain was really starting to show!
 
But no; as the Princess of the Night, and chosen Equestrian Ambassador, its her royal duty to attend that underwater meeting, no matter how desperately she may desire air. Thats one of the upsides to being darn-near immortal.
