By the way, the page was updated for Season 4. Of course,in Season 5 we saw Pinkie’s secret lair, which implies that she does have her own private space. Still, nothing sound except that ponies might have secrets. (Where did Big Mac get heels in his size, on short notice, in Ponyvile, with Rarity out of town?)

No rebuttal here. I’ve known plenty of girls who act and dress in childish ways; one even had a habit of thumbsucking. But none of them really reacted positively to a description of ABDL. It’s socially acceptable for girls to “not grow up.” Your point about Big Mac is well-taken; if anyone is to have an embarrassing secret, it would be him, although he’s such a strong character in general that he’d probably just own up to it without hesitation.

Not sure how I missed this when it was new, only stumbling across it when looking through old art tagged for outhouses.
 
@amess: Like the diapers and urgency in S2, the pacifier in S4 might have been just a gag. Thanks for pointing it out.
 
I guess I could update the page to include the end-of-S2 foalish party games as well. Interesting that these things do seem to happen only to Pinky. Of course, none of this is conclusive. She hasn’t shown any secretiveness about foalishness, often a characteristic of ABDLs. (In contrast, Big Mac snuck off with Smarty Pants in the chaos of Lesson Zero.)

Perhaps I should move my mental probability up a little ways as far as her being “AF” (adult foal). Granted I still don’t see her as being the sort to need to go as far as diapers to feel fullfilled but some AB actually don’t. To them IF they are diapered it is more just a piece of atire and nothing more.
 
I may have to give some consideration to this as my “official head cannon”.

This goes from insulting to hilarious when you remember that notorious Fox News report on the fandom.

Yeah, chances of cannon Pinkie, even “offscreen cannon”* is for all practical purposes 0% probability.
 
However Pinkie does embody a lot of what many AB types do desire. While there is always variation amoungst any group a common theme amoungst AB types is the disire to be young agian wishing for when they were more innocent and full of vitality.
 
I don’t think many would deny that Pinkie does embody these things, she is playful, cute, and has boundless energy.
 
Heck, her idea of a reception party was something Chrysalis likened to a childrens party!
 
So while Pinkie would not actually be AB or ABDL I wouldn’t call it much more of a stretch as far as fan interpritations and paridies go.

I can understand overanalysing things like, say, Rainbow Dash’s top speed or trying to calculate how much Twilight can magically lift based on visual evidence. Not really my thing, but I can understand how people might do it for fun or as an intellectual exercise.
 
I can’t, however, understand things like “Oh, Pinkie’s wearing diapers while babysitting! She must have a diaper fetish!” or “Rainbow Dash immediately thought Applejack put her hoof around her! They must be in love!”
 
Well, okay, the second example is clearly shipping goggles, but still. But in this sort of situation, I prefer to go, “Different strokes for different folks” and move along. Live and let live, yes?

In all seriousness, though, yeah, I can see how analyzing a show you like can be fun as an exercise, but surely there’s a point where you take it too far. I remember that once, a long time ago, someone tried to estimate the firepower of various Transformers characters in terms of TNT. Considering in one episode Megatron’s cannon simply knocks you down and in others is nearly a one-hit-kill, it was an exercise in futility.
 
In any case, in this situation I’m going to go with, “I think this is a weird, borderline disgusting fetish, so I’ll just add it to my tags to filter and move on.”

That’s… interesting. I actually heard from a doctor that trying to keep the urine to the bitter end tends to stiff up the urinary muscles, and thus causing reduced control.

There’s a slight difference. You reasonlessly hate on something others enjoy, while I’m questioning your common sense. I mean really, if diaper lovers annoy you so much, why bother talking to them? It’s not like anyone would force you to wear one, or look at diaper art. Best thing to do is ignore us and move on.
