Well, the supreme god of this universe (the universe being the world depicted in the picture, and the god being the artist) wills that Dinky be okay, so I guess it’ll be fine.
I’m not so worried about Dinky getting noose’d - that would be a rather specific and unlikely series of events - I’m more worried by the fact that there’s nothing to keep that bucket oriented upright, or to even keep her rump sitting against the bottom of it - they’re both flying together so there’s nothing at all to keep her inside there. If you want to be picky about physics, she should just fall right out as the bucket spins uncontrollably.
Fortunately Derpy’s a pegasus, though, and could definitely catch her in time from that altitude :p
It’s Derpy, yes, but a mothers’ instincts and adrenaline means I’m pretty sure even a clutsy pegasus in that situation could give a paragrine falcon a run for its money.
I kinda want to like this image. It’s just, Dinky should have a seat belt and the rope should be secured in such a way that it can’t fly off and onto Dinky’s neck. In short, the bucket should have eight holes in it for the rope to go in and out of so that can’t happen. Hey, I like to live stupidly.
This picture is terrible and needs to be removed immediately! What if some young filly pegasus sees this and decides to try to replicate it with an earth-bound friend! That could end in serious injury… Or worse!
KIDS! Do not try to pull your friends or younger siblings around on a bucket in the sky if they’re not fliers themselves!
That “motherly instincts and adrenaline” part is what I’m referring to:

Of course, it’s Derpy. Who knows what miracle would happen.
“Oh, come on, it’s not like you were using it at all!”

loljk, of course!
Done. Also; great image!
Favorited for you. But wait! I wanted to favorite it for me, too! Oh, no! It’s just too adorable for one favorite.
get a seat belt on that bucket!
