Background instances only matter if something substantial happens that can’t be ignored. Actual evidence that there is reason to let them be together is stuff like embracing and smooching that border on the romantic side. There has been none of that, so there’s hardly any evidence for them to just automatically be a couple that everyone has to accept.

It was actually because I said theirs is not a confirmed marriage, only for them to just ignore it in favour of what they said next. I didn’t stop to think about ‘objective facts’ which are a crock of $#!+ compared to concrete evidence such as being introduced as each other’s spouse, like Jet Set did with Upper Crust. Neither Fancy nor Fleur ever said they’re married so there is no reason we should.
