If we didn’t have the ability to make jokes about such things then we really would never truly be able to get over them (giving proper time for the actual tragic-ness of the event to pass of course, its not like it wasn’t a terrible thing but its been 14 years and I really don’t think that mentality matters anymore).

Plone is probably pissing jet fuel on a beam, and that is just referencing a conspiracy sort of idea that has been turned into a joke of “jet fuel cant melt steel beams”, because they found melted steel beams at the base of the trade center and people think that there were explosives involved or something like that because apparently jet fuel couldn’t have done that.
