Reformed changelings need a tag name.
 
reformed changeling - kinda wish I had used this one? straightforward.  
changedling - tag I used (someone’s idea in the comments), but now I kinda think it may get confused with “changeling” a lot?

Yeeah all those -ling names are just kinda bad. If there isn’t a widely fanon-enforced nickname for the moment I’d just stick with reformed changeling for now.

Yeah, I wasn’t looking through IDW stuff too closely. Most of the obscure characters are in screencaps of background ponies from the show.

There’s an issue with transformation-related tags, namely tags for some concepts being absent, and some misused. There isn’t a tag for gender transformation (“rule 63” isn’t describing it properly, r63 is the result, not the process along with other cases like “human male into pony mare”), there isn’t a tag for species transformation, and there is confusion on what “transgender transformation” means, therefore I propose these additions and changes to related tags:

CREATE “species tf”  
CREATE “gender transformation”  
CREATE “species transformation”  
CREATE “gender and species transformation”  
ALIAS “gender tf” -> “gender transformation”  
ALIAS “species tf” -> “species transformation”

“Transgender transformation” or its clumsier form should exist and apply to the cases where it’s single character undergoing both kinds of change, meanwhile images with two separate tags and not “tgtf” would be those where separate characters are undergoing separate kinds of change.

This image is animated. The compression has created frames of alternating color intensities. This creates a subtle but very real rapid strobing effect from her snout, to one cheek, and down her entire neck. It’s visibility may depend on your monitor, it is is very much there. I’ve put seizure warning on it twice. I’ve tried explaining it in the comments, twice. It keeps getting removed by non-staff.
 
I’m not photo-sensitive, but I know the things that can set photo-sensitive people off, and strobing can do it. I’ve tried explaining in the comments there that it doesn’t have to be an image with bright rotating colors to affect a photo-sensitive person.
 
People are seeing it, thinking it’s mistagged, and removing it without ever seeing the comments. I’m trying to keep even the smallest chance someone will unintentionally stumble onto that and be affected by it from happening.
 
Can I please get some advice or help here?

Thanks for bringing this up, a mod added the tag back and commented on the image. But please, in the future use the “report” feature or come in the IRC to contact the mods directly, don’t post it in the forums.

A new background pony, this mare, has been tagged only as receptionist since her debut. As that is a general tag describing the character’s profession, she needs a proper name. Post suggestions as a response to this comment.

I’m not, either; that’s why it’s just one suggestion. She very well could be, but if no one likes that idea we’ll scrap it. Do you have any ideas, or like either of my other suggestions?
