It’s only for mods, yes, but I’d argue that it’s still an “obtainable” badge with a clearly defined criteria - get banned, then become a moderator. Both are things that (almost) any member on this site can do if they’re willing to put forth the effort.

Since a signature is meant to help people figure out who drew it, I always prefer legible ones. That way if I find a picture on some random site, and there’s no source, I can just see “Oh, this was drawn by bob”, and then Google that name to find more of their art.
 
What a lot of people do though is just sign the art however they want (logo, illegible signature, etc), then put a url below that in plain, typed text that’s easy to read. It’s all preference though, there’s no right or wrong way to do it

Krausbooru needs to be added to the official site code!

Bumping because V1.3 now. This edition is entirely Kraus’s doing, and now adds support for all three site domains (derpibooru.org, derpiboo.ru, trixiebooru.org), and actually allows the buttons to be in the primary user bar without breaking other stuff.
