Which was cancelled basically right before the final battle against the Skeleton King was supposed to happen because Toon Disney/Jetix was replaced by Disney XD.

W.I.T.C.H. is one of those things I remember from way back in the day. In the early days of the Jetix block. And for those of you who don’t know, Jetix was sort of like Toonami. I remember it airing cartoons like W.I.T.C.H., Get Ed, Dragon Booster, and many seasons of Power Rangers.

And then it was cancelled after that, presumably on a cliffhanger, since Weisman seems to be cursed to never have a show go beyond two seasons. And no, “The Goliath Chronicles” does not count.

lion-o went inside the book of omens to learn about their history but mumm-ra messed with the book so there’s no time dilation (lion-o spent 5 years inside the book, thinking when he comes out a second has passed. mumm-ra took over during the 5 years)

I can relate. It wasn’t really ripping off anything that I could see, it just took the plot in the wrong direction is all.

i have a beef with one of the comments about ripping off (almost everything under the sun) other stuff.
mainly its “i hate it so: rip-off but if i like it: it’s a homage”
reminds me too much of the star wars crowd.

i’ve seen both cartoons but i prefer the new one better. maybe it’s i was too young to remember the first one though (just bits and pieces, nothing really stood out)

From what I’ve read of Don Rosa’s work, I would definitely have to agree on that front. I really can’t think of a comic arc that’s better than The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck.
I haven’t read the stuff before his time, though, sadly.

As good as Ducktales is, it’s pretty inferior to the comics it was spawned from.
From what I’ve read of Don Rosa’s work, I would definitely have to agree on that front. I really can’t think of a comic arc that’s better than The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck.
