Images that are hidden by your filter will no longer show at all when viewing the overview/search results page of the commissions directory. Previously, they would show as spoilered images.
 
Please note, however, that when viewing an individual commissions listing, they will still show as spoilered images.

The Forum Search page has been updated and now displays the form and results on the same view, making it easier to refine/alter searches.

There were a few minor, internal changes to the site’s search. These changes do not affect how the search operates at all, but if your browser remembers/suggests previous searches, these changes may have the side effect of causing your browser to “forgotten” previous ones.

byte[] has added the ability to search through your site’s interactions using the “my:” operator in the search bar. This adds the following self-explanatory search terms:
 
-> my:upvotes  
-> my:faves  
-> my:downvotes  
-> my:uploads  
-> my:watched
 
This will allow you to narrow the scope of your searches. For example, if you wanted to search for pictures of Sunset Shimmer that you favorited, you can do a search for sunset shimmer, my:faves. Likewise, if you wanted to search your watched tags for safe-rated images, you could search for safe, my:watched

I made the changelog page more purty.

The sorting/filtering options that have always appeared on the bottom of search results now also appear on tag pages.

The ability to show all comments on a single page has been removed due to the negative impact longer conversations were having on server performance. Currently you can display a maximum of 100 comments per page by going to your content settings page and clicking the “Display” tab.

When viewing the private messages inbox, there was a bug where conversations with unread messages were not always highlighting as they should. This has been corrected.

We’ve rolled out a number of internal processing changes. Things like tagging and uploading new images may get a bit bumpy. As usual, refer to the Bug reporting thread if you notice anything weird.
 
Also, an issue that prevented certain JPEG images from being rendered should be now resolved. If you find an upload older than a day with “Just a moment” message instead of the picture, report it.

In the interest of both transparency and allowing everyone to know what’s going on with the site, we’re introducing this thread to provide more detailed, informative information about updates to the website’s code. While we’ve had the changelog page for years, the notes on there are usually too concise and don’t make a lot of sense unless you can see the code changes that they were attached to.
 
This thread will mostly list updates that impact the usability and performance of Derpibooru. We generally will not be posting updates regarding changes that won’t have any noticeable effect on how the site works (such as correcting minor typos, updating mod tools, etc). If you’d like to keep up to date, simply subscribe to this thread, or just keep checking back regularly.
 
If you would like to discuss any changes that are mentioned in this thread, suggest a new feature or addition to Derpibooru, or report a bug you found, please see the Feature Suggestion and Bug Reporting threads. Note that if you found a bug which you believe to be a security issue, please send a PM to a site developer instead.
 
Finally, please note that sometimes changes may be announced in this thread before they are actually implemented on the site. This is simply because of our deployment workflow, just be patient as most changes are deployed within 24 hours.
