Honestly, I think they should be teaching kids time management, leadership and how to cook before that.
 
There are a multitude of things fundamentally wrong in American society that no gun law can fix. The most important one being how the government is structured.
 
Firearms ed. doesn’t keep crazy people from going to a public place with the intent to kill. If you teach these people how to use a firearm, but fail to address their mental state, all that does is make them more efficient killers.

you know it’s messed up when civilians in warzones can’t carry guns to protect themselves (mainly because they can’t get them) but lots of americans wants to be armed in case zombies/vampires/werewolves/communists/foreigners/hipsters/the blob/aliens/mick jagger invade.

What tires me about some people is their unwillingness to even talk about the issue.  
Everything is always up for debate. I don’t believe in anything being free from questioning, be it traditions, popular opinions or even rights. Times change and we must adjust our views accordingly. This does not mean that questioning always leads to change. Sometimes questioning things strengthens our belief in those things. The way I see it, if you are afraid of questions, you are not confident in your position.
 
That being said, I am in no way opposed to people owning firearms. I aspire to own one of my own some day. However, I also completely understand the disbelief of those who are tired of seeing people get up in arms about their rights hours after another shooting, if that long.  
Yes, we have our rights for a reason and mustn’t forget that, but we must also acknowledge the ever increasing death toll.
 
Discussion is necessary and people need to realize that antagonizing each other will only worsen the situation. The people of the United States must set their differences aside and see themselves as one in their fight against gun violence.

I found out that I can upload pictures from my New 3DS XL to Imgur (as I’d have to otherwise A: take apart the 3DS to get to the micro SD card, or B: use a Windows laptop to wirelessly access it, and my laptops are slow as fuck, and my only desktop is a Mac…inb4 “mac users suck trolololol”)!

Ahhhh, our lust for our second amendment rights is going to be our downfall, and I’m going to love every minute of it.
 
We finally get what we’ve been wanting for years, but having extremely lax gun laws suddenly sounds less appealing when you’re no longer being “stripped of muh rights as a ‘murican!”
 
We did this to ourselves, and now we suffer for it, and as someone who’s endured a lot of criticism for his stances against putting these laws into place, getting the last laugh on these people as they run around like headless chickens is absolutely, positively, glorious.

With the new Open Carry law taking effect on Friday, many store owners are putting up signs that are indicating they will offer no service to people openly carrying weapons around on the grounds of safety concerns and scaring away customers. This is, of course, being taken as a form of discrimination by the pro-open carry side, who fully intend to shop where they please and express their second amendment rights.
 
Only good things can come out of this, honestly. It’s going to backfire on the Texas Government gloriously and I can’t wait.
