I always wondered what pen ward and JG quintel think of MLP FIM ever since AT writer jesse moynihan said his own opinion on MLP FIM almost a year ago

also for those wandering moynihan said about MLP FIM: “I heard it has a cool story but I don’t like the design/art direction”

I know I may be overthinking this, but how does the world of My Gym Partner’s A Monkey work? I mean, the animals at CDMS are relatively civilized, but they live in zoos. Ok, but then there’s the whole zoo animal thing where the humans treat them like animals. And what’s the point of the lessons at the school if the students are gonna work as zoo animals anyway?

Remember the lessons they had weren’t regular lessons, they were lessons on how to be the animal they are (plus random junk); Predators learned to hunt, etc etc. Also mostly all the animals live to become zoo animals or something equivalent and love it, so it’s like a mental fire wall.

He also seems to have the worst luck, as well.

Like I said earlier in the thread, Weisman seems to be cursed to create amazing shows, but never have them last more than 2 seasons (and again, “The Goliath Chronicles” doesn’t count since he was no longer involved at that point, and the first Gargoyles comic, released years later, details what he originally had in mind for the plot of the first “Goliath Chronicles” episode). And with the exception of Gargoyles, he refuses to ever reveal what he had in mind for potential future seasons of any of his shows even though he always has loads of things planned out for those.

That’s a shame. It’d be cool to hear the kind of plans he had for a show before it got canned.
 
Then again, it would probably just make the loss more disheartening.

Although one thing he did reveal about what he had in mind for Spectacular Spider-Man was that he had no intentions of ever killing Gwen Stacy off. Which considering his usual work (and the fact that it’s Gwen Stacy and these days, her dying is all anyone seems to remember about her) is kind of surprising.

I just wanna tell you guys that in the ’70s, The Three Stooges had a cartoon where they had superpowers. Look it up.
