Judging by behavior on here, you certainly come off as one of the more aggressive and quick to anger members on here.
 
Calling a guy a child and getting mad at MagpulPony calling him less of a man, that it got too a point that a mod had too come and break you two up.
 
As well as the behavior you seem too exhibited a couple of times here and the vent thread. Makes you seem like you have anger issues more than anything.

Seems like a symptom of mismanagement to me. Some of the French public services suffer the same issue TBH (notably our national rail company and postal services, and don’t get me started on how bad hospitals had it even before the pandemic).
 
When those issues linger, it’s often enough to convince people that those services are better handled by the private sector, which makes me think that the lack of political commitment to fix them may not be so innocent…

Well, some of the users here can be infuriating in the way they let their partisan mindset trump* up their common sense (to take a leaf out of silbasa’s book). Zincy’s just more outspoken than me about them.

Yeah. Its the eternal argument between state and private ownership. I find that it can be either. Sometimes private corporations cut services to a point where they suck. Sometimes state run corporations are large and bloated. There are pros and cons to a welfare system. Biggest con its it is expensive. Very expensive.

Yes. Its a balancing act. How much can you tax and how much will you spend on services. Here in Europe with an aging population and ever increasing demand this will become a big issue soon.

Admittedly it is tough to feel pity for him, given the extent to which he’s lied and misled people about the virus, as well as mocked and politicized one of the simplest, easiest ways to help contain it.
 
But much like you, I’m not interested in wishing death upon him. Callous indifference and ill will towards those that are sick or in a bad situation is something he’d do, and I want to be better than that.
 
I am worried about Biden though. I hope he gets tested right away too.

His chances are currently standing at 20%, according to FiveThirtyEight. Not the greatest of odds, but nothing’s set in stone (after all, those are about the same he had against Hillary Clinton at the same point in 2016 and a lot can still happen in the span of a month).

I might just vote for Jorgensen this year. Because fuck the Democrats and the Republicans!

MagpulPony and Silbasa defiently do lean pretty pro trump, and i’m not shaming them telling them they can’t like or vote for the guy. But they come off at times, as the kind of trump supporters that you would see in political comics.
 
And some think that Latecome is the left or democrat equivalent of MagpulPony or Silbasa. But he doesn’t really come off that much different from any other liberal/socialist/democrat user on here myself on the democrat side i’ve mentioned before.

Because, given the significant Republican advantage in that state, your vote wouldn’t weigh much either way, so might as well follow your convictions, I guess (back in 2017, I remember that, upon figuring that Emmanuel Macron would crush Marine Le Pen with or without my help, I went to cast a blank ballot without feeling guilty in the slightest).

Ignore people who claim that. Voting for the lesser of two evils is throwing away your vote. If these people wanted your vote they would actually try to earn it. Neither Trump or Biden have earned mine.

For the DNC we had Tulsi, but Harris made the accusation of her being an apologist, people stayed away from her. Plus Mike Bloomberg use his money to,change the rule so he get into the next round was a huge red flag. Why Bernie lost is a mystery- some say it was corruption, other say it was due to Harris is textbook definition of a crooked cop and prosecutors- She withheld evidence in order to protect her precious record and as such a black man was tossed in jail. Warren would have broke BLM in half.
