He deserved to be fired for his opinions because his opinions are detrimental to the company’s self-admitted goal. They just stick their heads in the sand when presented with evidence. Their fans are nothing to them, Anderson would not be working for them if they cared.

It goes a bit deeper than one bad writer though.
 
The thing is, the comic staff side never admits they are wrong. Their responses amount to “we don’t see anything wrong”, without actually learning from old problems, or even the very least of addressing them via an answer on their forum. Recently, there are even cases of straight up silencing the readers through deleting their criticisms. The Ted Anderson fiasco is just one link in a chain of problems related to IDW.

I’ll give you that. His opinions are detrimental to a degree, but I don’t feel they’re really worth firing him for. I’ll just say I disagree and leave it at that.

But I’ll blame the pony comic staff for that, and whoever else is involved in it. Strictly who is involved in it. I’m not punishing the Mars Attacks, Godzilla, Etc teams or the independent comic guys for the Pony staffs’ blunders.

For starters, the humane!CMC are a lot nastier in that comic, yet they are easily forgiven despite what they did to Sunset.

Well, starting from where you left off, there are still gems to be found, and most are not that bad, so you probably can enjoy them. Just brace yourself for main series #25-26 and EQG holiday special, those 2 are the biggest stinkers.

There’s not much they can really do with EQG comics, it’s a highschool, very limited. So that’s to be somewhat expected.

I’m still buttmad that the first EqG didn’t end up as that fusion between Generator Rex & W.I.T.C.H like that one fake leak promised it would be.
 
At least Rainbow Rocks was a massive improvement.
