I finally tried drawing her as well. Sleep deprivation both was for and against my favor. It didn’t even become the sphinx I wanted in the end.

Let us give praise to our first canon monster pony :D  

I have a thing in my fan fiction called a spirit Pokemon within my oc Takengrin Endmmar and that is Giratina (aka IMO the best Dragon type Pokemon in the entire franchise).
 
Other of my versions of characters I have redesgined like for example the elements of insanity, my very first OC named Kamodo the Komodo Dragon, and my OC’s cartoon wifes all have a spirit Pokemon and are able to change into their spirit Pokemon if necessary.
 
Takengrin Endmmar’s however, specifically changes/evloves into these during the course of the fan fiction/show:  
Ultra  
Omega  
Titan Blood  
Spirit Bond  
Primal  
Spirit Primal

Someone’s going to need a lot of ice cream :P

I’ve heard of Chimera OCs, but like OCs who are an amalgamation of other ponies, Penelope being one of 8 different ponies. Would it still be a chimera?

I’ve seen quite a few Chimera type images. (Creatures made up of several animals, or even several ponies. There was at least one hydra with the heads of the main 6).
 
For those that don’t know, Chimera is a catch-all description for conglomerate creatures that don’t have a specific name, like the Draconequis, Hydra, Centaurs, Griffins and the like. Normally such creatures will have parts from at least 3 different creatures though.

This thread has been dead for a while… might as well throw this in here. Might respark something.  
 
I wonder if there’s other “Frankenstein’s Monster” ponies in the fandom.
