Do bear in mind that tag implications aren’t absolute, and infidelity can be removed after posting if, for instance, it’s implied to take place before the canonical relationship (or after breakup/divorce), or it’s an alternate timeline or something.

It should, so I’m not sure why that particular ship implies infidelity, since they aren’t married, but just dating.

I thought any ship involving a member of a married couple in a relationship with someone not their married partner would imply infidelity?

Shiningmac currently implies “infidelity”.
 
That is not a sure thing. Shining Armor did not get born as a married stallion. He had a life before Cadance where he could romance Big Mac all he wants without it being infidelity.
