Bump. This was never resolved.

blob by itself has come to be used as a fat fetish/morbidly obese-related tag. I would untag “blob” from everything that isn’t while also tagging whatever’s correct, to be decided:

A chubbie is an oval (except when that’s the joke) with no distinct head/neck/body separation, stubby lil leg nubs, and beady eyes.

My only hesitation is how easily it could be mixed up with chubby.

I’m not sure how far off-model should still count as a chubbie:
Bendiness >>612773 >>629953?
Legs absent/circular >>662049 (maybe called puf)?
Other shapes >>16680?
Bipedal/Kirby-esque >>629977?
Short but not nub-like legs >>1084710 (maybe called pig pony)?

I would un-tag chubbie from other distinct designs like squishmallows >>2881730

Some other specifically-named blobesque tags:
yukkuri (from Touhou fandom)
potato pony (though it seems like a few different designs got named this - including something tagged chimken numget)
bean pony (like a chubbie with a bend - plus a few random other things tagged)
sphere ponies
pusheen
poo brain
spike ball
mameshiba

Then, one out of blob ponies, blob pony, and pony blob could be chosen as a category-style tag for all the rest, and aliased together. Or, to make it inclusive of nonponies, it could be bwob instead?

Also don’t know how relevant it is but chubbie is also a tag that is used to describe those blob ponies, though like the tags you brought up it doesn’t seem to have a single homogeneous use either.

And maybe the morbidly obese images there should not be tagged such, but I’m not sure.
