Hey, some of us enjoy drama.

I like how I’m finally gonna get to sit down.
 
Though this means I should probably see what Mr. Rogers is bitching about in some likely mass-reply email to everyone that doesn’t like his little cyber-security bill.

I AM sometimes miserable, but only when I come to this site. Everything is cheerful and happy until then. Then I’m hit in the face with whatever moronic drama is being spammed at the moment and I weep.
 
Then I remember how my country’s goverment is acting like hateful pig-headed children again, and how Sinfest turned from near Bill Watterson level smart humor into femnazi junk, and I feel like the world is turning into sh*t and we are in a slump towards another war that will seem like a good idea at the time.
 
But that’s depressing. Let’s talk about things that we like instead.

I assure you, people would bitch and whine about the garden of eden. It doesn’t mean people are “miserable”, just that their brains haven’t been rewired yet.

So… whatever happened to the grand and egalitarian 21st century we were all PROMISED by futurists? All I see is war, death, self-entitlement and endless frivolous technology being created like Facebook and cellphones that record videos in the wrong orientation. THIS is our grand future? THIS is what I’ve been waiting 30 years for?

Every artist I have ever talked to including Megasweet and John Joseco started out sketching and taking drawing classes. Nobody can be a great artist like that without at least some training. If you are afriad of what people think of your work post it anyway with an anonymous account somewhere (DA is a great place) and ask for constructive criticism. Everyone has their own style so don’t get upset if your art doesn’t look like everyone else’s. Just keep trying until you are happy with your work and don’t be afraid to present it. Don’t be afraid to pursue your dream.

Jee life its selfs been getting me down for some time now and i just cant seem to get anything out of it and drawing one of my favorit things to do dosent seem to help cheer me up hardly.
 
 
One of the things ive dreamed of doing my whole life is be an animater that make cartoons anime games and all that stuff but im kinda haveing second thoughts seeing how people treat things like equestria girls. Makes me scared that my ideas will be treated like shit and nobody will like them and thus becomeing a laghing stock that people like the nostalgia critic make fun of.

It’s more like evolution, traces of your evolutionary past exist in your present form and will persist to your future self. People tend to evolve and survive better, though not all mutations are beneficial.

What is done is done and can not be undone. The past You is not the You you are now. The Present You killed the Past You, as the Present You will die to the Future You.

Actually, I’m doing very well.
 
I left a job filled with stress which I dreaded every work day and each week seemed to last forever. I’ve moved to a new company and position where I’m genuinely happy to be there, making just a bit less than before but every day is grand. My only problem with the new job is that the building is HUGE! I lose so many minutes just walking from my work area to the break room. It’s crazy.
 
Beyond that I’ve got my 3DS and I finally got two of my favorite games; Chrono Trigger and Radiant Historia. Playing these two again has been wonderful fun and it feels so great to actually play a game with a (semi sorta) controller in my hand rather than a keyboard and mouse. Computer gaming is alright, but I’m a console man. I understand the technical superiority and additional fun to be had with computers, but I’d rather have something I can pick up, play for a short time, and then finish other business.
 
And in love, boy, I’ve got it made. Seriously, aside from the whole, “Immigrating my fiancee to the USA because ‘MURICA IS ASCARED OF FOR’NERS” thing it’s amazing.

What ever is done, is done. Do not think too much about it, otherwise it’ll destroy you… Move on. I think this is what the fandom needs to learn to do.

It is a good thing we have this forum now. It seems we have a lot of people on here willing to lend a helping hand to our fellow fans in need.

My mind has been in constant turmoil lately, I really need to stop worrying about stuff so much, especially if it’s unimportant stuff.

My former “friends” have nothing to do with the stuff I’ve been through, they are relatively just an annoyance compared to the real mental/emotional trauma I’ve been through, I was just responding to Klonoahedgehog in that I know how awful it is. Thanks for caring though.
