the magic color sucker flute yes, but if you look, the orb has sunny and izzy on it speaking, so its clearly a broken mirage ball that opa used and threw away, misty just followed it bc it rolled away from her

its a thing she cant help, shes autistic with sprout as a heavy comfort character and fixation for her. as someone with neurodivergency as well, someone being negative about a thing you are fixated on and like alot can feel very personal (ill stop talking ab her here bc its her personal life stuff, and she doesnt want to be mentioned here anymore)

Don’t forget that Opaline was at full power during Twilight’s time. Appearances can be deceiving too, the way they have her “act dumb” in the show is for comic relief. She was definitely a threat to the Mane 5 in Missing the Mark.

you know what’s interesting is that the fandom of g4 is as high as Mt. Everest (which is 8,848.86 meters), and that g5 is as high as Mauna kea (which is just 4,207.3 m), and sure Mauna is shorter then Everest, however the rest of the volcanic mountain has secrets underwater, waiting to be found, so yeah g5 has some potential left, if hasbro isn’t planning to let it discontinue that is.

Misty hallucinated the ball speaking to her? I was gonna say it was Discord disguised as the ball because Opaline told her to get a flute and not intentionally because it drains colour because didn’t Quill said it was some object? Is it another flute?

no she didnt hallucinate it, the crystal ball is a scrying glass that spied on sunny, so you could hear what they are saying, misty followed the ball thinking it was talking to her after she threw it away
