No joke, I’m pretty much already a brony–I like the show and take the movies far more seriously than I probably should–I just don’t think of myself as one because I don’t make fanart or the like. Plus, I’m a musician, and when people think of brony musicians, they usually think of people that make pony-related music (usually dubstep or Offspring parodies).

So I’m considering shaving again. My mustache and beard are only partially grown in, anyway. What do you guys think? Do I look better with the facial hair or without it?

LOL, I’m not. I’m the white dude in the corner.

So earlier this year I was involved in a local community theater production of Dreamgirls, for which I played piano. I only bring this up because I inadvertently showed up in a lot of the pictures.

Gunsmith Cats is actually very good at its depiction of Chicago, or at least what I remember of it; I haven’t been there since 2012. Part of this is because the animators actually spent some time in the Windy City before working on the anime.

I haven’t actually seen that show, and honestly, the girl in the glasses is only a side character. These are the two main characters:

But yes, Gunsmith Cats is great fun and a good homage to ’80s action films.

Actually, with Gunsmith Cats, it makes more sense to watch the dubbed version because it’s set in Chicago.

Sometimes I watch the dubbed versions of anime just to piss off the snobs. :D

Gunsmith Cats also has the funkiest opening music I’ve ever heard in an anime.
