Sweet F.A.
Ugh.
So whenever I go driving, I like to keep a few peanut butter granola bars in my car’s glove compartment just in case I get trapped in a traffic jam and get hungry.
Today, I was on my way back from town, running some errands when I got caught in a big traffic jam. Having not had dinner or even lunch yet, I reached in my glove compartment and couldn’t find anything. I checked elsewhere and couldn’t find anything. By the time I got home, I was starving.
When I asked where they went, my dad said, “I threw them away. You shouldn’t be eating candy bars.”
Candy bars?! What the hell? They’re granola bars! They’re low in calories! But even if they weren’t low in calories, what other types of food am I supposed to keep in my car that won’t go bad or melt if left there for a long time?
Screw my dad.
